A brand that emerged...
Despite the announcement in October 2009 that the motorcycle brand Buell would be discontinued, the machines, created by the company's founder Erik Buell, remain popular in the street motorcycle market to this day. Erik Buell, an American former racing driver, has dedicated his life to motorcycling and the development of high-performance bikes. He founded his first motorcycle company, Buell, in 1983.
From passion
Erik Buell's expertise was instrumental in developing innovative motorcycle models known for their unconventional design and performance, often utilizing Harley-Davidson engines. From 1998 to 2009, Harley-Davidson, Buell's employer, owned 100% of Buell Motorcycle Company shares. In 2009, Harley-Davidson discontinued the Buell Motorcycle Company's series production. Erik Buell severed ties with Harley-Davidson and founded Erik Buell Racing (EBR) in 2010, focusing on high-performance motorcycles.
